CHAIRMAN
& MANAGING DIRECTOR
Dr.
Abd. Wahab Hashim, born in 1953 is presently the Chairman and Managing
Director of ASLAH Group of companies. He graduated from University of
Malaya in 1975 with degree in Sociology and took up his first
appointment as Assistant Registrar at University of Technology,
Malaysia.
Dr.
Abd. Wahab had served in many capacities during his 25 years in service
that includes Registrar, Kolej Agama Sultan Zainal Abidin (1980-1981),
Management Services Manager, Kumpulan Ladang-ladang Terengganu Sdn.
Bhd. (1981-1991), Executive Director, Ladang Rakyat Terengganu Sdn.
Bhd. (1991-2000) and Executive Director, TDM Plantation Sdn. Bhd.
(2000).
Dr.
Abd. Wahab received his Doctor of Business Administration from European
Business School. He was accorded with the awards of Ahli
Mahkota Terengganu (1998) and Pingat Jasa Kebaktian (1990) by His
Highness The Sultan of Terengganu for his distinguished service to the
state and country.
He
left the employment in 2000 to venture into business and set up ASLAH
Industries Sdn. Bhd.
Dr.
Abd. Wahab is an active community leader who serves in many capacities
in many professional bodies, NGOs and training of young entrepreneurs.
He is currently a Fellow of The Oxford Center for Leadership, United
Kingdom, Certified NLP Practitioner (NFNLP, USA), Charter Member of
Toastmasters International and member of The Incorporated Society of
Planters. He is also the past Chairman of Terengganu Planting
Association and represented Terengganu in the
Council of The United Planting Association of Malaysia (UPAM) from 1994
to 2000.

Before joining ASLAH,
Zainab @ Akmal Lat had served in education for
more than 22 years. An Economics graduate from University of Malaya in
1977, Zainab served as teacher in many secondary schools after
completing her Diploma in Education in 1978. Her last post before opted
for an early retirement was Senior Assistant at Sekolah Menengah
Kebangsaan Manir, Kuala Terengganu.
She
received special award for excellence service (Anugerah Khidmat
Cemerlang) in 1994.
As
Director of ASLAH, Zainab is actively involves in training and
management consultancy besides her position as Senior Finance and
Administration Manager.
SALES
MANAGER
Halim Che Rose received
his tertiary education at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and obtained
Bachelor of Science degree in Geology in 2001. Prior to appointment as
Sales Manager in 2007, he had served ASLAH as Finance and
Administration Manager since 2004.
Halim
has gathered some management experiences while serving several
companies after leaving University including Equatorial Hotel, Bangi,
Urus Tadbir Jaya Sdn. Bhd. and Jackwells Enterprise (M) Sdn, Bhd.
He is
an active member of Persatuan Silat Cekak Ustaz Hanafi and is currently
conducting classes for University students in Kuala
Terengganu.
DIRECTOR,
ASLAH SUPPLY & SERVICES
Rizuan Alfatah Nizar is a
Director of ASLAH Supply & Services since
the incorporation of the company in 2006. Rizuan studies business,
majoring in marketing at Kolej Agama Sultan Zainal Abidin (KUSZA).
He
began his career as sales executive at Primula Beach Resort in 2000
before he moved to work with Cosway Terengganu Branch as Assistant
Stockist Manager. Rizuan worked with TTH Exim Sdn. Bhd. for 4 years and
gained experience in import and export of agriculture commodities. He
left in 2006 to become business partner with Dr. Abd. Wahab in this
company.
